You don't have to delete your whole account to remove specific data. From inside the app you can, at any time:
Delete an individual incident recording: open Incident History, select the recording, and delete it (available once it's past its 5-day protection window).
Remove an emergency contact: open Emergency Contacts and remove any contact you no longer want stored.
Edit or clear your profile info: open Profile and update or clear your name and phone number at any time.
If you'd rather we do this for you, email info@safeimai.com from the address on your account and tell us exactly what to delete (e.g. a specific incident recording, or your emergency contacts). We'll complete it within 30 days without touching the rest of your account.
Delete your entire account
Option 1: Delete it yourself in the app (instant)
Open Guardme and sign in.
Go to Profile.
Scroll to Danger Zone.
Tap Delete account and confirm.
This permanently deletes your account immediately - no need to contact us.
Option 2: Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have the app installed or can't sign in, email us at info@safeimai.com from the email address associated with your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.
What gets deleted
Your account and sign-in credentials (email/password, or your Google/Apple sign-in link).
Your profile information (name, phone number).
Your emergency contacts.
Your incident history, including any recorded audio/video clips.
Your subscription status and billing history on our servers (the App Store or Google Play retain their own purchase records, as required by Apple/Google, independent of your Guardme account).
Retention period
Deletion is permanent and immediate once processed - we do not keep a backup copy of deleted account data afterward. If you request deletion by email instead of using the in-app option, please allow up to 30 days for us to verify your request and complete it.
For more detail on what we collect and why, see our Privacy Policy.
