By downloading, installing, or using Guardme ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use between you and SAFEIM.AI LTD ("we", "us", "our"). If you don't agree, don't use the App.
Guardme is a personal safety tool with two buttons. Violence detection starts recording the moment you tap it and alerts the contacts you choose only if it detects real distress. Medical emergency alerts them straight away, with no detection step. Either way they receive your live location, so the people closest to you know something is wrong and where you are. It also records the incident and keeps that recording encrypted for you.
Guardme works alongside the emergency services, not instead of them. If you are in immediate danger, call 999 (UK) or your local emergency number.
Guardme requires an active paid subscription (monthly or annual) to use the App. New subscribers may be offered a free trial; whether one applies to you, how long it lasts and what you pay afterwards are shown in the app and by the store before you confirm. Subscriptions are billed and managed entirely through the Apple App Store or Google Play, auto-renew unless cancelled, and can be cancelled at any time from your device's subscription settings. Refunds are handled entirely by Apple or Google under their own policies - we cannot issue refunds directly. If your subscription lapses, paid features become unavailable until you resubscribe, but your account and data are not deleted; your profile, emergency contacts, and incident history remain intact unless you choose to delete them yourself from Profile > Danger Zone.
You're responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for the accuracy of the emergency contact information you provide. You must be at least 13 years old to use Guardme.
You agree not to use Guardme to harass, stalk, or falsely alert anyone, or to interfere with the App's operation.
Guardme is a second pair of eyes, not your only plan.
Guardme does not work without an internet connection.
Detection further depends on your phone having power and on the camera, microphone and location permissions it needs. No detection system recognises every situation. It may not raise an alert in a real emergency, and it may occasionally raise one when nothing is wrong. Medical emergency does not wait for detection at all, so it is there for the moments you already know are serious.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guardme and its developers are not liable for any harm resulting from a missed detection, a false alert, a failed or delayed message to your emergency contacts, or any other failure of the App to perform as expected. The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
